To prepare the surface for application, clean and dry it thoroughly, ensuring it is free of dirt, dust, and foreign material. The surface, filler, and air temperature should be above 40°F. To apply the filler, squeeze the tube and use a putty knife to press the filler firmly into the area. Remove any excess filler.

For larger or deeper holes, an extra filling may be needed. Allow the filler to dry for approximately 1 hour for shallow fills and 2-6 hours for deeper holes. Use medium sandpaper to sand the area.

Before filling, it is recommended to test the stain on a scrap piece of wood with the filler. The filler can be painted with latex or oil-based paints. To clean up, remove any excess residue with a damp cloth before the filler dries. Use soap and water to clean hands and tools before the material dries. Reseal the tube tightly with the cap after each use.

For outdoor use, it is advised to coat the filler with exterior paint. However, it is not recommended for continuous water submersion.
